The best way to receive more responses is to make your self description exciting, interesting and most importantly truthful. Be open about yourself, let people know what's really important to you, share your thoughts and feelings about life. Profiles with photographs receive 7 TIMES more E-mails than a profile with no picture (let face it you would do the same wouldn't you !) TIP: The more you write the better it will stand out, one liners simply don't work, eg: "I like to have fun and enjoy myself" not exactly exciting is it? Look at your description as if you were browsing and ask yourself if it would catch your eye! Also do not use capital letters as on the internet this is classed as shouting.
As soon as you've chosen your username and password and clicked the submit button your profile is entered on the website immediately. A Welcome letter from Spice of Life will be sent to the E-mail address you entered in your profile, In this E-mail is your permanent record of your username and password and a link to view your own profile.

To hide your profile simply login to the website, click on "Your Profile" button which is located at the top of each page of the website and then click on "HideDelete Profile", from the next page click "Hide Profile" and your profile will be hidden. The next time you enter the website (either login or enter from an email link) you will have to click "unhide your profile" in order to become active again
You can hide your profile for up to 3 months, after this time your details and membership are automatically deleted from the website
To delete your profile simply login to the website, click on "Your Profile" button which is located at the top of each page of the website and then click on "Hide/Delete Profile", from the next page click "Delete Profile" once you confirm and submit the request to delete your profile will be deleted
Click on "Add Your Photo or Your photos" then click "browse" and once you've found your photo on your computer simply double click it. Now click "Submit photo" Or you can e-mail your photo to photo@spiceoflife.com.au and we'll upload it to your profile ASAP (please include your ID number)
Yes you can change your photo any time by repeating the above steps
Easy just post us your photo with your Full Name and ID number on the back of it and we will scan and upload it to your profile FREE OF CHARGE!. Make sure it is a clear photo of yourself, (with your clothes on please) we will display your photo to the size that we require, which means we may have to crop the unwanted background or such like. Log into the website, click on "your photos". Beside the photo(s) you wish to delete simply tick the "delete" box, once you are finished scroll to the bottom of the page and click the "delete" button. This will instantly delete your photo(s) from your profile.

No, photos are not shown to the general public therefore members that view your photo have already entered their username and password to gain access to the website. Photos are also only shown to the sexuality you have chosen, therefore are not visible to every member of the site.
To contact a member simply click on "E-mail Me" which is located at the top and bottom of their profile. (Full membership is required to make the first contact with members) If you have received an e-mail from a member simply click on the link which is enclosed in the e-mail you have received or click on "View" from your members area
When you send a message to a member it goes directly to the E-mail address that they nominated when they joined up.
No all e-mails are sent anonymously unless you type it in your message.
As soon as you send your message it is delivered to the the other member immediately
Your session has timed out, if you are on the same page for over an hour with no activity (eg: not clicking into another page) then you will have to log in again. (Please note this will show them your private e-mail address). You can also reply to members by logging into the website and from your members home page click on the messages you have received line

When you receive an e-mail with "Someone has contacted you from Spice of Life" in the subject line, a member has personally viewed your profile and sent you the personal message which is written in your e-mail When you receive an e-mail with "Compatible Match", "Looking for You", or Members You're looking for" in the subject line, this is an automatic e-mail which is generated from Spice of Life when a new member joins and fits the criteria you are looking for, the wording in the e-mail is the "Self description" of this person, it is not a personal message they have sent you If the subject line contains "Someone has added you to their favourites" this is simply a sign that the member is interested in you. Common courtesy YES! Always put the shoe on the other foot and think how you would feel if you were just ignored, its not a nice feeling. If you're not interested in the member just a simple "thanks but I don't think we're compatible" is a sufficient reply.

Yes you can change this from the links at the bottom of every match email you receive or from logging into the site and clicking on "your profile" on the purple menu, then select “edit profile” and then select “my match criteria" tab on the page , simply tick the box beside "Only send me who's looking for me matches who are within this age" and enter the age you are interested in and then save the changes at the bottom of the page.

Your username and password have to be entered correctly, the most common reason is entering a space before, during or after you start typing (Think of it as the same as your phone number or bank pin number, if you enter the wrong digit or an extra digit you won't get access)
Your username and password are recorded in the welcome letter you received when you joined, or you can click on "Forgot Password" which is located at the top of each page on the website and your correct username and password will be e-mailed to you instantly
This can happen if you have 2 or 3 e-mail addresses and have forgotten which one you entered in your profile, just try all of your e-mail addresses.

If a member has hidden their profile, blocked you or deleted their profile you will not be able to view their details. If you have removed certain countries from your allowed list in your settings page, and the member is from a country you now do not wish to view or be viewed from, then you will not be able to view the profile. This also applies vice versa, if they have removed your country from viewing them, you will not be able to vew their profile again.
When viewing a profile from your history records simply click "block member" once you've clicked this, the member will be placed into your "blocked members" list.
When you block a member, the specific member cannot view your profile or contact you.
The members you had blocked will now be able to view your profile and contact you again.
The member trying to view your profile will receive a message stating you have hidden your profile.
